Nikki Kurt and Terry Tomei are a dynamic wife and husband team who bring their passions to life. Their intention is to inspire children to enjoy the simple things, to respect all beings, and to honor the spirit of nature itself.

Their shared backgrounds in communications, children’s education, illustration, design, music, and sustainable living is brought to life in their 1st Children's book “Nikki Kurt Lives in a Yurt”. Their intention is to inspire the future generations to care and appreciate the natural world we live in.

They reside in Pittsburgh PA, singing silly songs to their kiddos Zia Fey and Von Kurt Tomei.

Nikki Kurt Tomei

A Graphic Storyteller grounded in the natural rhythms of life that weave their web into the modern world and motherhood.

As an artist, she draws the energy of the moment, one story at a time; focusing on the integrity and emotional connection of words and images, and the power of their positive messages.

Nikki studied Communications Design at Pratt Institute and has visited trees throughout 5 Continents.

Terry Tomei

A rhythmical drummer of life and a natural expander of time. He believes it's time to reinvent the possibilities of how we power our lives and how to transform from being individual consumers to a community of producers – to become energy positive.

He shines his light in the solar industry.

Terry studied Communications at Penn State Main Campus and has visited waterfalls throughout 5 Continents.
